Winwood & Mann Dentists pride ourselves on being a friendly, professional dental practice with family-based values.
We strive to provide high quality, comfortable dental care in our modern, recently refurbished clinic, always putting our patients first and offering a wide range of solutions to meet their dental and lifestyle needs.
Since its foundation in 1970 by Dr Peter Winwood and Dr Edwin Mann, Winwood & Mann Dentists has been an ever-present and reliable dental clinic in Adelaide's northern suburbs. The practice has continued to flourish as a family oriented practice built on the values of trust, transparency, and most importantly, our desire to help our patients achieve their optimal oral health.

Dr George Laparidis
BDS (JCU)
Dr George Laparidis graduated from James Cook University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Academic Medal and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Academic Prize (Dux). He joined Winwood & Mann Dentists in 2019. Dr George takes a keen interest in all facets of general dentistry, placing an emphasis on making patients feel comfortable in the chair and positive about their smile. Dr George has also tutored at Adelaide University.​
In his spare time, George enjoys competing in triathlons and supporting his beloved Adelaide Crows and Adelaide United sporting teams.
BDS (JCU)
Dr Sophia Laparidis graduated from James Cook University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction. She was awarded ADAQ prize for the highest GPA as well as the Colgate Graduate Prize for attaining the highest overall academic and clinical achievement. Sophia completed placements in Far North Queensland and Tasmania before joining Winwood & Mann Dentists in 2022. She is passionate in all aspects of general dentistry and prides herself on providing comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and relaxed environment, allowing patients to leave with a smile that they are proud of. Dr Sophia also tutors at University of Adelaide Dental School.​
Outside of dentistry, you will most likely find Sophia baking up a storm!

Dr Harry Laparidis graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1990 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He joined Winwood & Mann Dentists in 1991. Dr Harry takes a keen interest in all facets of general dentistry, constantly seeking to improve his knowledge by attending conferences and completing continued professional development.​
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife Antigone and their three children, as well as watching soccer and exercising.
Dr. Johnny Laparidis graduated from LaTrobe University, earning a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours. In 2025, he joined the team at Winwood and Mann Dentists. Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Johnny is particularly dedicated to ensuring his patients feel at ease during their visits. With his friendly and approachable nature, we're certain you'll enjoy your time with Dr. Johnny – and maybe even share a laugh or two! When Johnny isn’t at work, you will find him in the gym or supporting his beloved Adelaide Crows Football team.
